Populist doles could lead to fiscal slippages: RBI warns Finance Panel

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has raised concerns that doled out sops to the marginalised sections will stretch the fiscal position of states. RBI has flagged these concerns for a long time fearing the impact of these schemes on inflation rates.
